Matthew V. Storin
Matthew V. Storin is Adjunct Professor in American Studies and the John W. Gallivan Program in Journalism, Ethics & Democracy at Notre Dame. From 2002 until 2005, he was the University’s Associate Vice President for News and Information following a nearly four-decade career in journalism. Storin served as editor of The Boston Globe (1993-2001), executive editor of the Daily News of New York (1989-1992), editor of Maine Times (1988-89), and senior vice president and editor of the Chicago Sun-Times (1986-87). He received his bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame in 1964, and an honorary doctor of laws degree from Notre Dame in 2006.
