American Studies Trivia Night!

Dear American Studies Community,

How well do you know the Department of American Studies? How much do you know about American culture, identity, and politics? Do you love fun and prizes? Do you want to meet students and faculty interested in American Studies?

On behalf of the Department of American Studies, I am pleased to invite you to the first ever American Studies Trivia Night on March 18th. Co-hosted by American Studies Majors Cynthia Curley and Will Haley, this will be a night of camaraderie and friendly competition. We'll also tell you about the American Studies club, which several students have been organizing since last semester and will (hopefully) soon become and official student organization at Notre Dame. Majors and non-majors are encouraged to attend!

Alexander's will offer food and drink specials in honor of American Studies; trivia will be offered free of charge. We do suggest, however, that you bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Casa de Amistad, a non-profit community organization and food shelf that serves South Bend's West Side (www.lacasadeamistad.org).
