William Kennedy Public Reading
Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist William Kennedy will give a free public reading at McKenna Auditorium on the campus of Notre Dame, Wednesday, September 26th, 5 p.m. A book signing and reception will follow.
William Kennedy is author of the acclaimed “Albany cycle.” His literary depiction of Albany—populated by Irish-American working class men and women, outcasts, and operators of the political machine—has been compared to James Joyce’s Dublin and Saul Bellow’s Chicago.
