Ingrid Gessner is a professor of American Studies at the University of Regensburg in Regensburg, Germany. Her current research centers around cultural memory studies, sports culture and twenty-first century American fiction. Professor Gessner has taught “Postmodern and Poststructuralist Perspectives” and “Cultural Studies and Beyond”
