Welcoming the Stranger: The Anglican Immigrant Initiative

Pastor Heather Ghormely will discuss the creation of South Bend's first immigrant legal aid clinic and the refugee situation in the Michiana area. She will examine how the church can engage in immigration issues and personal pastoral care for refugees and immigrants. 

Heather Ghormley is the rector and founding pastor of Tree of Life. Heather attended Wheaton College, Oxford, & Yale Divinity School. She has spent more than a decade undertaking missions and urban ministry.
