Seminar in American Religion

In spring 2018, the Seminar in American Religion will feature Judith Weisenfeld’s New World A-Coming: Black Religion and Racial Identity During the Great Migration (New York University Press, 2017). 

Commentators for this seminar are Paul Harvey of the University of Colorado and Jennifer Jones of the University of Notre Dame. 

Judith Weisenfeld is the Agate Brown and George L. Collord Professor of Religion at Princeton University. New World A-Coming won the 2017 Albert J. Raboteau Book Prize for the Best Book in Africana Religions.
