American Studies Senior Theses Presentations
This year a record number of 17 American Studies students completed a senior honors thesis. Their thesis topics range from the opioid epidemic to National Parks to public art. Each student has put in a year's worth of labor to write an original research paper that adds something to the field of American Studies.
Wednesday April 17, we're celebrating these students, their advisors, and the American Studies Department with thesis presentations followed by a reception. The event is open to all. If you were on the receiving end of any late-night thesis crises, we welcome you. If you took Jason's Intro to AMST course, we welcome you. If you just want to come for the food, we welcome you—as long as you listen to the presentations.
Join us to celebrate the hard work of our thesis writers and, hopefully, learn something new.
