Colloquy On Black Church Studies

The Department of Africana Studies in conjunction with the American Studies Department, Initiative on Race and Resilience, and the Theology Department present a Colloquy on Black Church Studies.

From 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, a Roundtable discussion and luncheon will be held in McKenna Hall, Room 215/16. To partake in this event, please RSVP to scarter@nd.edu prior to the event. 

From 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm, keynote speaker Tracey Hucks will present. Tracey Hucks is the Victor S. Thomas Professor of Africana Religious Studies at Harvard Divinity School and Suzanne Young Murray Professor at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. She is the author of Yoruba Traditions and African American Religious Nationalism. This event will take place in McKenna Hall, Room 205/206/207. All are welcome to attend.
