Jennifer Huynh is an Associate Professor of American Studies at the University of Notre Dame, where she is affiliated with the Liu Institute for Asian Studies and the Initiative on Race and Resilience. Huynh teaches courses in Asian American Studies, Immigration, and Refugee Studies. Huynh earned her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Ph.D from Princeton University. She is the author of Suburban Refugees: Class and Resistance in Little Saigon, published by the University of California Press in 2025. Huynh is the recipient of the Grenville Clark Award, an award given to a faculty member whose voluntary activities advance the cause of peace and human rights, and her current research is supported by the Russell Sage Foundation. She is a first-generation college student from Southern California.
